The Advanced Summer School in Physics will be held in Mexico City from May 27th to the 31st of May 2024. It will be organized by the Department of Physics of the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (Cinvestav-IPN).
Cinvestav is a public organization dedicated to developing, teaching, and promoting science research. Cinvestav counts 37 Departments, separated into 4 research areas: Exact Sciences, Biology & Medicine, Technology & Engineering, and Social Sciences & Humanities.
The Department of Physics is one of the largest departments at Cinvestav. It currently counts more than 50 researchers working on a wide variety of research topics: Quantum and Mathematical Physics, High Energy Physics and Fields, Solid State and NanoPhysics, Statistical Physics and Soft Condensed Matter, Medical Physics and Biophysics, and General relativity and Cosmology. This Advanced Summer School aims to cover these fields and introduce the students to these topics and the current edge research on each subject.

-Each day they will be given a ticket to be able to exchange for a meal.
Courses:
-The generation of the nanoworld
-Quantum entanglement
-The world of particle
In addition, there will be more than 10 talks by local and foreign researchers on the topics investigated at the Physics Departement.
